Cutting Directions:
From Holiday Print cut Four 5-3/4" squares
From Ribbon Material cut:
Four 2" x 5-3/4" rectangles
One 2"x2" square
Two 5-1/2" x 6" rectangle
1. Fold Ribbon 5-1/2 x 6" rectangle in half
lengthwise, right sides together, and stitch on 6" side to form a tube.
Press the seam open. Turn tube so right sides are out, pressing with
the center seam on the back. Using a basting stitch, sew across the ends
of the tube and gather to 1-1/2" width. Fold in half and with raw edges
together, sew to end of 5-3/4" strip. Repeat for second side of bow.
Sew bow halves to sides of 2" square.
2. Take your remaining two 2"x 5-3/4" rectangles. Sew the holiday prints
to each long side of the strip. Sew each of the holiday print
sections to the bow strip, being careful to keep the bow from being stitched
into the block.
3. Sign and date your block in the same allowance on the back of the
block.
