Christmas Four Patch in Nine

Autumn Glory - 12" Finished

Download pattern here
A: 12-1/2" square of light mottled background.
B: Leaf Pattern: Cut 4 in fall colors. Applique by hand or machine or raw-edge.
C: Circles - Cut 12 in dark brown. Applique as above.
Sign your name on the back of the block.

Christmas Four Patch in Nine - 8" Finished
A: Cut 4 2-1/2" squares, two red and two green for center four patch.
B: Cut 4 rectangles 2-1/2" x 4-1/2" for background. Use light, small holiday pattern.
C: 4 half-square triangles for corners. Cut 2 red (or green) squares and 2 background squares 2-7/8". Draw a diagonal line on the back of the background fabric and sew together a background and colored square 1/4" on each side of the drawn line. Cut on line to make 2 half-square triangle blocks. Repeat.
Make 2 blocks - one with red corners and one with green corners. Sign your name in the seam allowance.
