BLOCK DRAWINGS

This year we are alternating block drawings with fat quarter drawings. Members who wish to participate can make one or more blocks and bring them to the meeting. For each block made, members put their names in a hat for the drawing. The winner gets all of the blocks. For fat quarter lottos, bring no more than three fat quarters in light, medium and darks. The fat quarters will be drawn for several winners. The Schedule is as follows:

January 2012	Block: Winter Theme (i.e. Snowmen, Snowflake)
February 2012	Fat Quarters - Valentine's Theme
March 2012	No block this month (since we know you are busy making small quilts for the show!)
April 2012	Fat Quarters - Spring Theme (pastels)
May 2012	Block: Quilter's Pet (Quilters have their favorite pet, or quilt buddy. Do the block in your preferred style; pet prints may be used if you wish).
June 2012	Fat Quarters - Summer Theme (Bright colors and/or prints featuring the beach, cookouts, sunglasses, etc.)
July 2012	No block this month (didn't want you to use it for a napkin at the Ice Cream Social by mistake!)
August 2012	Block: Corn Fritters or Crepes (see Jennifer Wilkerson for pattern)
September 2012	Fat Quarters - Blue, Green or Brown Fabrics
October 2012	Block: Halloween (Halloween fabrics or pieced, applique or embroidery; bat, ghost, pumpkin, witch, werewolf, vampire or zombie)
November 2012	Fat Quarters - Christmas colors or prints
December 2012	President's Block (tbd)
