Exploring Machine Quilting is a hands-on class taught by award-winning quilter, Loretta Painter. You will have the opportunity to learn how to machine quilt using your own home sewing machine.  There will be a discussion about marking tools, different kinds of battings, needles, and threads.  You will be working on a class sample using a variety of quilting techniques. If you have a completed quilt top and would like ideas on how to quilt it, you may bring it, but this is not necessary. You will find the class supply list above.  Please bring a sewing machine (including walking foot if you have one and darning or free motion foot) with which you are familiar.
