Mary Farmer
Long time SMQ and Tuesday Bee member, Mary Farmer, passed away on November 14, 2006. She was working on a black and white quilt that had been pieced by her mother, Rinda Tyler, many years ago. Mary completed the top and had just started hand quilting it when she passed away. Several members of Tuesday Bee then completed the hand quilting and finished the quilt. It was returned to Mary's daughter, Ann Horner, in February 2008. Pictured is Ann with the completed quilt and also a photo of the label made by Jean Lester, of Mary and her mother, Rinda.
